William Augustus Page
It is known that he owned How(e) Hill in 1883 but lived in Oby. Whites for 1881 describes him as living at Oby Farm. In the 1881, 71 and 61 census he was living in Oby. No sign of him in earlier ones.
He was born in 1829 in Ludham and his wife Hebe was born in 1831 in Batavia, Java (now Jakarta)
On 25th Aug 1853, William Augustus Page married Hebe Young Hazard in Ludham. His father was William Sherwood Page and her Father was Gregory Hazard.

Gregory Hazard Page b 1872

William died 1st Jan 1888 in Ludham and is buried in Ludham.
Hebe Young Hazard
Hebe was born in 1831 in Batavia (now Jakarta) her parents were Helena Burrows (sometimes called Eleanor) and Gregory Hazard (b 1799 Kings Lynn) both from Norfolk and married in Great Yarmouth. We don't know why they were in Java.
Helena returned to Ludham to her mother with baby Hebe by 1834 (we assume Gregory has died). Hebe was baptized in Ludham Church and record says born 1831. In 1835 (8th Nov in Great Yarmouth) Helena marries John Bayles who is running the grocers and drapers shop in Ludham.
Helena and Gregory seem to have had at least 4 other children who may have died. Three were called Helena and one was Edward Gregory.
Hebe died in 1911 in Great Yarmouth and is buried in Ludham churchyard.
