The Ludham Community Archive group is a not for profit organisation. We are here to create a lasting archive of Ludham Village.
However, there is no point in creating an archive if nobody can see it. So an important part of our work is making the archive available to as many people as possible.  We try to make the archive accessible to everyone by using lots of different ways of getting the information out to people. This website is one example and the information on these pages is provided free of charge.
However, things like books, booklets, CDs and DVDs all cost money to produce. We give our time for free, but we do have to charge for the actual materials. When you buy something, you are paying for the materials used and you are making a small contribution to the work of the archive so that we can go on building that lasting record.

Value for money?

We hope that you like what you see and you will understand that it was produced by volunteers who gain no financial benefit from the sales. We think our productions are good value for money. For example, CD2 contains nearly 2,000 photographs and a comprehensive history of the village for just £10. That works out at just over 0.5 pence per photograph.

Was there a CD1?

CD1 was our original CD. It was produced using Comma software. We have no plans to make any more of these, but don't worry. Everything from CD1 has been thrown in as an extra add on to CD2.
